The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional end-of-life care. This role focuses on patient-centered approaches to enhance comfort and dignity.

As a pivotal member of the care team, the Registered Nurse coordinates with medical professionals to craft and deliver tailored care plans. You will be instrumental in assessing patient needs, managing palliative symptoms, and supporting grieving families during critical times. This position requires a deep understanding of compassionate care principles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients and families
• Develop and adjust individual care plans as needed
• Address palliative care emergencies appropriate to training




• Educate families about the dying process
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members

Requirements:
• Valid RN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum of two years nursing experience in relevant fields
• Expertise in pain management and symptom relief
• Robust communication and empathetic listening skills
• Willingness to mentor new staff and promote Hospice values
