Join Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government as the Lands Manager in hitac̓u, British Columbia. This permanent, full time position focuses on strategic land management and community involvement in addressing Treaty obligations.

In the position of Manager, you will lead the Department of nism̓aakukqinʔaała to ensure effective land and natural resource program delivery. You'll be accountable for your team’s performance and will establish key partnerships to promote responsible resource management. Your role involves coordinating closely with other departmental managers on land stewardship initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and provide guidance to the Lands program staff
• Ensure compliance with Treaty obligations and policies
• Manage budgets, financial proposals, and reports




• Develop and implement land management policies
• Build relationships with external agencies and community groups

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or related experience in land management
• Five+ years in land/resource management, supervising a team
• Knowledge of Indigenous rights and regulations
• Strong communication and judgment skills
• Class 5 BC Driver's License required

Facilitate community engagement and holistic management of lands in alignment with Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ traditions.
