Nor-Can Ventures Ltd. is looking for a motivated E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Intern to join our retail flower shop team in Kelowna, BC.

This is an in-person, hands-on internship designed for a student, recent graduate, or early-career skilled who wants practical experience in e-commerce, SEO, digital marketing, inventory management, product merchandising, and website operations.

What You’ll DoYou will help manage and improve our online e-commerce store, including:

- Updating products, pricing, descriptions, images, categories, and seasonal collections
- Managing online inventory and coordinating product availability with the physical store
- Supporting SEO through keyword research, page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and product content optimization
- Assisting with Google Search Console, website analytics, and performance monitoring
- Supporting digital merchandising and seasonal campaigns such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, weddings, holidays, and other key occasions
- Helping improve website navigation, customer experience, and online conversion opportunities
- Supporting online promotions, digital marketing activities, and e-commerce growth initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve website traffic, product visibility, customer engagement, and online sales

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable with technology, willing to learn, and interested in building practical digital business experience. Experience with e-commerce platforms, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Canva, Excel, Google Sheets, inventory systems, social media, or basic website editing is an asset, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits? $22/hour during the initial 3-month probationary period with 12 months contract; plus employee medical benefits after probation.

A performance review will be conducted after probation, with compensation, responsibilities, and potential continued employment reviewed based on performance and business needs.

Work Location? Kelowna, British Columbia

This is an in-person position because the role involves coordinating the online store with physical inventory and day-to-day retail operations.
