Seeking a Labour & Employment Associate with 5+ years of civil litigation experience to handle employment-related disputes within a busy plaintiff-side litigation practice in Alberta, with flexible work from home arrangements.

Responsibilities

- Manage employment and civil litigation files from intake through resolution

- Draft pleadings, correspondence, motion materials, and other legal documents

- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies

- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members

- Attend mediations, negotiations, and court proceedings

- Maintain organized files and monitor critical deadlines

- Provide responsive, client-focused legal service

Qualifications

- LL.B. or equivalent

- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta

- 5+ years of civil litigation experience

- Employment law experience preferred

- Plaintiff-side and contingency fee experience considered a strong asset

- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills

- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage urgent deadlines
