CHALLENGES WE OFFER

Achieves budgeted operational costs, for the New Minas Feed Mill operations

Ensures that inventory levels are kept at optimum levels to minimize cost but maintain production requirements

Ensures the production, sale and delivery of quality feeds and ingredients by developing employee understanding and commitment, as well as a valuable rapport with sales, technical support, and procurement staff

Motivates and educates employees in personal safety and security of property

Motivates and develops employees to become an effective and efficient work force by individual and group consultation and training program

Nurtures harmonious relations with employees by fair and equitable administration of a collective agreement

Improves office, plant and delivery operations by analyzing operations,



developing and implementing plans to reduce costs and/or improve quality and service

Manage a fleet of delivery trucks & drivers responsible for delivering bulk feed from the site to our customers

Looks of opportunities to co-ordinate production volumes with other Sollio sites to maximize plant efficiency

Purchases maintenance parts, new equipment, supplies and services for plant, warehouse and office

Participates in labour negotiations between management and the bargaining unit

You possess 7-10 years experience in a related field

You demonstrate excellent leadership and multi-tasking abilities

You have strong team work skills

You have great attention to detail

You must be able to work in a noisy/dusty environment /various weather conditions

You have a high degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety

You have strong work ethic and a positive attitude

You are physically fit

You have strong computer skills
