- As a Human Resources Business Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor and strategic collaborator, helping shape a workplace where people thrive
- You’ll work closely with leaders and teams to align people strategies with business goals, foster a culture of inclusion and growth, and ensure seamless employee experience across the organization and project that you will be supporting
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize organizational capabilities, behaviors, and structures that support strategic goals
- Build strong, credible relationships with internal stakeholders, offering expert guidance on all things people related
- Provide thoughtful coaching on talent management, performance, recruitment, terminations, compensation, development, and change management
- Partner with the Recruitment team and hiring managers to support staffing plans, project assignments and talent redeployment
- Support on different processes related to Labour Laws, disciplinary actions, employee life cycle, and operational activities
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of AtkinsRéalis policies and new processes that enhance operational effectiveness
- Anticipate business needs and deliver HR solutions aligned with our mission, vision, and values
- Lead initiatives that boost employee engagement, strengthen culture, and retain top talent
- Stay current on employment legislation and ensure compliance with government reporting requirements
- Develop and implement strategies that foster open communication and positive working relationships- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development
- Identify and escalate complex, high-risk, or sensitive matters to Sr. HRBP in a timely manner
- Recent Bachelor’s Degree in Human ressources from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Collaborative team player with demonstrated professional and emotional maturity and judgment to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy, tact, and high ethical standards
- Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Strong attention to details with ability to capture key discussion points, decisions and follow up actions
- 1-2 years maximum of proven experience as a generalist in HR
- Demonstrated ability to take clear, concise, and impartial meeting minutes in sensitive or confidential environments
- Knowledge of unionized environment, investigations, grievance and will be considered an asset
- Proven ability to collaborate, negotiate, facilitate, and resolve conflicts
- Solid data management skills with proficiency in Excel
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity
- French oral and written skills will be considered a strong asset as the role interacts across Canada
