Wiber Bouchard & Company LLP (WB&C;) is a well-established CPA firm located in Whistler, BC. We provide accounting, tax, and advisory services to owner-managed businesses, professionals, and individuals throughout British Columbia.
We're looking for an Accountant to join our team.
We welcome applications from candidates at all stages of their careers, from recent graduates and individuals looking to begin a career in accounting to experienced accountants and CPAs. The position, responsibilities, and compensation will be tailored to each candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and career goals.

No public practice experience? No problem. Whether you're starting your career, changing career paths, working toward a CPA designation, or bringing years of experience, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do Responsibilities will vary depending on your experience and may include:
Preparing compilation and review engagement files
Preparing financial statements and supporting working papers
Preparing personal, corporate, trust, and other tax returns
Assisting clients with bookkeeping, GST, payroll, and other compliance requirements
Communicating directly with clients to obtain information and answer questions
Liaising with the Canada Revenue Agency and other government agencies on behalf of clients
Supporting tax planning, reorganizations, and special projects
Participating in client meetings and advisory engagements
Reviewing work and mentoring junior team members (for more experienced candidates)




Contributing to process improvements and the continued growth of the firm
What We're Looking For We're interested in candidates who bring a combination of professionalism, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.
Qualifications may include:
Diploma, degree, or coursework in Accounting, Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field
CPA designation completed, in progress, or an interest in pursuing the CPA program in the future
Accounting, bookkeeping, finance, administration, or other relevant business experience
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, CaseWare, Taxprep, or similar applications is an asset
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow professionally
