FTE: 1.0 Full Time PROGRAM:Continuing Care REPORTING TO:Nutrition Supervisor SUMMARY OF WORK: Under the direct supervision of the Nutrition Supervisor, the Cook prepares a variety of nutritious meals, including traditional foods, while strictly adhering to customized therapeutic diets and texture-modified food restrictions. Your precision directly impacts the Health and Safety of our Residents. SKILLED & PERSONAL QUALITIES:
Experience: 1-3 years of cooking experience in a healthcare facility (hospital, retirement home, or long-term care setting), restaurant, or day care. Education: Minimum Grade 12 Diploma and/or Graduate of recognized Culinary Skills program, Chef training, Culinary Arts Diploma. A Red Seal Designation is highly preferred. Certification:
Food Safety Handing is Mandatory Maintain CPR, First aid, WHIMS
Understanding of the Blackfoot Culture and Language
