About the Opportunity

- Advanced knowledge of payroll legislation, employment standards, statutory deductions, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting, including GL entries, accruals, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
- Working knowledge of pension administration, including defined contribution, profit-sharing, and legacy defined benefit plans.
- Solid understanding of HR master data, employee lifecycle transactions, and the application of HR policies.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, time and attendance, and HRMS systems, including data management, controls, integrations, and reporting.
- Understanding of internal control frameworks, including segregation of duties, governance requirements, and SOX compliance.

About You

- 3+ years of Managerial experience (4 direct reports)
- PCP or CPM required




- Large organization experience
- Relevant pension experience, DCPP experience

Salary Range

$118,000 - $148,000 /year

This position for employment is for a current vacancy with Vaco/Highspring's client. You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this chance.
