Job Summary
The Keefer Bar has been repeatedly recognized as one of North America’s top 50 bars, and we are looking to bring on a new full time bartender. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and spirits, providing exceptional customer service while building a variety of agile drinks. As a bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. The is a high intensity, fast paced environment so speed is a must!

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.




- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Stay updated on drink recipes, trends in the beverage industry, and seasonal offerings.

Requirements

- 3-5 years bartender in similar venues.
- Full availability and the ability to work a flexible, occasionally changing weekly schedule.
- Able to work a majority closing shifts
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a successful team dynamic.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
