Lambert Distributing Inc. is a long‑standing, family‑owned business serving Saskatchewan for over 100 years. We specialize in lawn and garden equipment, outdoor power equipment for all seasons, and air‑cooled engines. With Saskatchewan’s largest parts inventory and in‑house service and warranty departments, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and strong relationships with retail and wholesale customers across the province.

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and customer‑focused individual to join our team in a hybrid role supporting our Parts Department, Service Department, and Shipping/Receiving operations. This position is essential to maintaining effective workflow, accurate inventory, and high‑quality customer interactions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Parts & Customer Service

- Assist customers with parts lookup and provide knowledgeable support at the parts counter.
- Process retail and dealer sales, including POS transactions (cash, debit, credit) in accordance with store policy.
- Obtain parts from inventory for customers and the service department.
- Maintain a clean, organized parts counter and showroom.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with multiple customer accounts.
- Work collaboratively with Shipping/Receiving, Service, Sales, and Accounting departments.

Service Writer Duties

- Organize daily service schedules and create workflow for technicians.
- Prepare and manage work orders and warranty submissions.
- Communicate with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and service recommendations.




- Apply knowledge of small engine repair and lawn/garden equipment to support accurate service intake.
- Maintain detailed records with strong attention to accuracy.

Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving

- Accurately receive incoming inventory, verify shipments, and document discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and ship parts and units to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and unit locations.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Lift up to 40 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift experience an asset).

Qualifications & Attributes

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Experience with small engine repair or lawn/garden equipment (asset).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to self‑manage and prioritize tasks in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
- Critical thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and comfort with inventory or POS systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ambitious, eager to learn, and willing to grow within the role.
- Forklift ticket or experience considered an asset.
- Kohler or Briggs certifications considered an asset (training resources provided).
