- Manage the shift: Assign roles, manage breaks, and maintain an efficient workflow from start to finish.
- Maintain standards: Ensure FOH cleanliness, appealing displays, and consistent product presentation at all times.
- Handle guest relations: Address complaints or special requests with professionalism and escalate to a Manager when needed.
- Monitor inventory: Keep track of stock levels (milk, coffee, takeaway supplies) and communicate with BOH regarding low stock or special orders.
- Support cash handling: Ensure proper till usage during the day and cash out at closing.
- Train and develop: Support and train new hires, brief staff on new products or changes, and encourage a positive team atmosphere.

Expectations

-
Leadership: Set the tone for the team by leading with professionalism,

energy, and a hands-on approach. Be the person others look to when things get busy.
- Customer focus: Deliver warm, attentive service and ensure every guest leaves with a great impression.
- Quality standards: Maintain high standards for product quality, presentation, food safety, and workplace hygiene.
- Proactivity: Anticipate needs, spot problems before they escalate, and take initiative without waiting to be asked.
- Teamwork: Foster a supportive, collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and motivated.
- Adaptability: Stay calm, organized, and efficient under pressure, especially during peak hours.
- Communication: Keep information flowing between FOH, BOH, and management. Ensure the team is always up to date on changes, new products, and priorities.
- Motivation: Inspire and encourage team members through a positive attitude and a genuine passion for continuous improvement.
