Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal from various locations, including roads, parking lots, and walkways. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and mechanical operations, as well as the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

- Operate snow plow equipment to clear snow from designated areas efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, including checking fluid levels, changing blades, and ensuring all machinery is in good working order.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal and related tasks.
- Assist in landscape maintenance during off-season periods, including gardening, irrigation, and horticulture tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of snow removal operations.
- Monitor weather conditions to anticipate snow events and prepare accordingly.




- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

Requirements

- Proven experience in operating snow plow equipment or similar machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction and maintenance tasks.
- Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred.
- Ability to work long hours during inclement weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications may be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $25.78-$30.09 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
