Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks desktop to ensure accurate financial data entry and maintenance
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently, verifying invoices and payments
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and company records
- Conduct account analysis and prepare detailed reports to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions, supporting audits and compliance requirements
- Support budgeting activities by providing relevant financial data and insights for planning purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a robust understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in accounting software when using QuickBooks desktop
- Solid knowledge of accounting practices including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial data accurately and communicate findings clearly
- Strong data entry at 60 - 80 wpm is mandatory
