Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated TIG Welder (Shop Foreman) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing exact welding operations using the (TIG) process to create high-quality metal assemblies. The successful candidate will oversee daily fabrication and welding operations while ensuring production quality, safety, and timely completion of engineered case projects. Responsibilities

- Execute TIG welding on various metals, ensuring strong, clean welds that meet detailed blueprints and schematics.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to accurately assemble components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and press brake machines to prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
- Perform routine inspections of welds using calipers and other measuring tools to verify precision and quality.
- Assist with rigging, assembly, and installation tasks as needed, supporting overall project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to welding, machining, and handling hazardous materials.




- Operate forklifts and crane equipment when moving heavy materials or assemblies within the workspace.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in TIG welding with a strong understanding of MIG welding techniques as a complementary skill.
- Previous experience as a Shop Foreman, Lead Hand, Supervisor, or similar managerial/supervisory.
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining, ductwork fabrication, and construction environments.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, plasma cutting equipment, and press brake machines.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication.
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, crane operation, forklift handling, and assembly processes is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working in manufacturing or construction settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
