we are seeking a Director of Care to join our evolving team of healthcare professionals.

Position: Director of care

Responsible to: Administrator

Position summary: The DOC is a valued member of our team, the DOC provides, oversees and manages the care of nursing department to provide excellent care for the residents. The doc advocated for the quality of life for the residents by modelling leadership, ethics, advocacy and excellence. The DOC actively leads an contributes to Sarsfield colonial home care team meetings, committees, care planning, and resident care conference.

Qualifications:

- Current registration as a RN at the relevant nurses college
- Possess current First Aid/CPR certificate
- Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing is desirable
- Must have knowledge of the nursing process
- Post-graduate studies in geriatrics is desirable
- Must have good leadership and communication skills, teamwork
- Possession of skill in planning, coordinating,



and supervising a comprehensive nursing care program

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
