Duties

- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Verify prescriptions for correctness, dosage, and potential interactions using medical terminology and medication knowledge
- Assist with medication administration procedures and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and addressing concerns with professionalism
- Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, inventory levels, and medication logs in compliance with regulatory standards




- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or resolve dispensing issues promptly
- Conduct inventory checks, restock supplies, and manage pharmacy stock to ensure availability of essential medications

Experience

- Prior pharmacy technician experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
- Experience working directly with patients to provide care or medication guidance is advantageous
- Familiarity with hospital procedures, medication safety standards, and pharmacy software systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and assist patients confidently
