Play It Again Sports Spruce Grove is looking for a Buyer/Sales Associate to join our team!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a hands-on sales position where you’ll help customers find the right gear while also learning how we buy quality used sports equipment.

ON THE SALES FLOOR

- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
- Help customers find the right equipment, fit and size
- Recommend products based on a customer’s sport, needs and budget
- Learn the features and differences between brands and equipment
- Help customers compare new and used options
- Build product knowledge across multiple sports
- Operate the till and complete customer transactions
- Restock, merchandise and keep the sales floor organized
- Help create a great experience that keeps customers coming back

AT THE BUYING COUNTER
Customers bring us their used sports gear, and you’ll learn how to:

- Evaluate equipment for condition, quality and resale potential
- Identify brands, models and equipment features
- Research unfamiliar products
- Determine appropriate resale values
- Make and explain offers to customers
- Price, tag and prepare purchased equipment for the sales floor
- Understand what we’re currently buying based on season,



demand and inventory

You don’t need to know every sport. We’ll train you on our buying process and help you build your product knowledge — but you should be excited to learn.

PART TIME POSITION

Applicants MUST have availability for a combination of weekday daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week

Education:

- Secondary School (required)

Experience:

- Retail sales: 1 year (required)
- sports equipmemnt: 1 year (required)
