In addition to payroll duties, the successful candidate will work within our accounting team and take part in day to day data entry, various analysis to ensure accuracy in reporting to management all the way through to year end preparation.

Duties
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently using QB Enterprise payroll software.
- Enter and verify data related to employee hours, wages, bonuses, deductions, and benefits with meticulous attention to detail
- Reconcile payroll accounts regularly to ensure accuracy in accounts payable and receivable records
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity across platforms.
- Collaborate with management to verify new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status impacting payroll
- Prepare detailed reports on payroll expenses, tax filings, and compliance documentation for management review
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis skills to identify discrepancies or errors
- Data entry, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliations using QB Enterprise and various POS software.
- Assist with year end preparation for each of the companies within our group.
Skills
- Proficiency with payroll systems such QB Desktop or QB Enterprise.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and bookkeeping principles to support accurate financial reporting
- Familiarity with accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable and account reconciliation
- Excellent data entry skills combined with sharp analysis skills for troubleshooting discrepancies
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards essential for precise processing
- Proficiency with excel for detailed analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with various POS systems such as Square
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
