Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous food industry or restaurant experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Clover. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, managing guest interactions, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Clover POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests professionally

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Clover POS is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Basic understanding of the food industry, including serving techniques and hospitality principles
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed as well as covering shifts
