The Opportunity

The Stockroom Associate is responsible for the receiving, inspecting and issuing product and materials.

Job Duties

- Receive and unload freight as it arrives to the facility
- Inspect and issue product and materials
- Utilize lifting equipment, including being elevated up to approximately 8 feet
- Maintain the electronic inventory system
- Cycle counts of materials and inventory
- Complete paperwork with a high level of accuracy
- Perform maintenance and safety checks on all equipment and tools used
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- 6 months or more in a manufacturing related field is an asset
- Forklift, Order Picker, and Raymond Picker experience and training is an asset
- Intermediate Microsoft Office, computer and telephone skills
- High attention to detail with an ability to count, check and confirm quantities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills, relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Proactive attitude and takes initiative to prevent issues
- Well-organized, enthusiastic, professional and a positive team member
- Safety minded and willingness to learn new skills
- Continuous heavy lifting may be required, up to 50lbs

What began as a small leather workshop in 1949 has grown into a 70,000 square-foot manufacturing facility—a testament to our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and Canadian manufacturing. Every belt, accessory, and leather good that leaves our facility carries with it 77 years of expertise, attention to detail, and the pride.

We wholesale and manufacture goods under a number of trusted product lines. Our main business involves the manufacture and import of men's and women's belts, which we ship to customers throughout Canada and the United States. Our belts are sold under our own brands, our customers' private labels, as well as Silver Jeans Co, Bosca, Vince Camuto, and other licensed brands.

Our customers include all avenues of retail, including major department stores, specialty stores, as well as independent men's and ladies wear stores. We also manufacture and distribute a wide variety of small leather goods and accessories.
