Automation Panel Builder

About the Role

This is a full-time role with base hours from 8:00AM until 4:30PM, Monday through Friday.

As a Panel Builder, your hands on trades skills will be utilized to build clean electrical panels based on engineering schematics. Panel builders are responsible for taking the designs from engineering to reality.

The machines we work on range from small special purpose assembly machines to large converting machines, no two projects are ever the same. We operate in a fast-paced, high empowerment workplace so self-motivated individuals looking for a challenge, this is for you.

This is not a maintenance position.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret electrical schematics, not limited to, 480-600VAC, 120/240VAC and 24VDC circuits
- Prepare, assemble and wire clean electrical cabinets.
- Test and power-on electrical cabinets and equipment
- Wire machines ranging from small purpose-built machines to multi-million dollar systems
- Support on site installations

Qualifications & Experience

- Strong ability to read electrical schematics
- Knowledge regarding ESA requirements for building equipment in the province of Ontario
- Tools for electrical work including, but not limited to panel building
- Panel building experience in a SI or OEM environment
- Located within 45 minutes of our office (Brantford, Ontario)

Compensation & Benefits

- Competitive salary based on experience, $20-28/hr




- Overtime after 40hrs per week
