Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and efficiently take their orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Serve food and beverages accurately, ensuring timely delivery and presentation that exceeds expectations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely service
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed,

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating strong guest services skills
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash transactions
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus, supporting seamless restaurant operations
