Denny's Modern Canadian Diner in Regina Victoria Ave East, location, is currently seeking self driven and eager individuals to join our team for the position of Host.

Our hosts within our restaurant today become the servers of tomorrow. Our guests are quite often commenting on the hospitality values exhibited by our complete staff base, which normally starts with the biggest welcome and smile from our hosts, day in & out. These quick learning, independant individuals, take to our systems seemlesly, some previous experience as a cashier is most welcome and helpfull. Our restaurant is more than willing to help train for this position as we all strive very hard to earn the respect and patronage of our guests everyday, 1 at a time. If you are tired of standing behind a counter all day, needing a challenging change and ability to move forward with new learned skills, Our management team is very interested in discussing them with you. Our restaurant currently has shifts available in our OPEN 24 hrs. format and a schedule that will cater to the needs of your current availablities. If you have previous restaurant/bar experience we are also willing to listen as well. Looking for constant traffic? Denny's has it.

What We Are Hiring

As a Host/Server, you are the face of Denny’s. You will be greeting, seating, and serving our guests in a friendly and courteous manner. You will help by taking and delivering food and

beverage orders, anticipating the needs of our guests, suggesting our meal items, receiving

payments, and assisting other staff as needed. Our goal is to provide total guest

satisfaction. Our team is made of committed, caring, and energetic individuals who make every Denny’s location the great and diverse place it is.

What You’ll Do

 You will create a welcoming and quality experience for our guests

 You will ensure accurate and efficient service

 You will develop strong product and menu knowledge





 You will help Denny’s achieve our mission by adhering to Denny's Brand Standards

and internal policies and procedures

 You will perform other duties as required or assigned

Who You Are

 You are an effective communicator in English, both orally and in writing

 You are a team player, collaborative and attentive

 You can work a versatile schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends

 You have excellent guest service and people skills

 You are self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively

 You have basic math skills (e.g. add, subtract, multiply and divide)

 You can lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs

 You can stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift

 You must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other

current and valid work permit)
