Job description:

A well-established liquor store is looking for a new assistant manager to join our team.

This is an exciting prospect as our store is very unique in terms of its offerings and a wide selection of products, great location and capacity.

The Liquor Store Assistant Manager ensures that the operations are efficiently run by leading, monitoring and supporting the team. The position will be focusing on managing the financial, marketing, and human resources aspect of the liquor store. Also, the assistant Manager will be expected to share the values and culture of the company.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

- Exceptional customer service skills
- Passion for wine, spirits, beer
- Effective organization, time management and communication skills
- Strong work ethic, reliability, professional appearance and a great attitude
- Valid pro serve certification
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time as well as lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to workdays or evenings with shifts focused around key times for retail
- Strong desire for long-term growth and advancement
- Previous retail experience and/or industry courses are a must




- Working knowledge of a computerized “retail system”, including point of sale and inventory management applications.
- Excellent training skills.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in dealing with the public.
- Successful completion of serving it right ™ certification

Qualification:

- Minimum of 3 years working in the retail industry and 1 year in a management position
- Serving it Right Certificate
- A college education is an asset

Pay: $43,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
