Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist 5 years + to join our dynamic team in Lake Country just 20mins from Vernon or Kelowna. We are not part of the RCIP or PR Programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As an experienced Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while also mentoring junior stylists and contributing to a positive salon environment. We have a Senior Stylist on maternity leave and require a highly motivated and skilled stylist to help take care of our guests.

Responsibilities

- Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon, ensuring all tools and workstations are properly sanitized.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication, ensuring they feel valued and understood.
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and contribute to salon revenue.
- Assist with front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge,



techniques, and best practices to foster their professional growth.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with informed recommendations.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a minimum of 5+ years and a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in hair cutting, coloring, and styling. Please attach your instagram page
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices in accordance with industry standards.
- Experience in upselling products or services is preferred.
- Retail sales experience is a plus, as it contributes to overall salon success.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.25-$50.00 per hour
