Ontario Stockyards Inc. is based in Cookstown, Ontario and is conveniently located on Highway 89, just minutes from Highway 400. Our extremely spacious parking lot welcomes you with ample room, able to fit your car or truck regardless of size. Our welcoming staff have created strong relationships with our customers and have created an environment that is both friendly and inviting.





Our dynamic team ranges from individuals with more than 40 years experience to individuals that have learned their trade exclusively through their employment at our facility. Preference may be given to those with relevant experience, but we are happy to train driven individuals with a positive attitude.

Duties

- Logging the livestock passing by (entering the backtags, ensuring that RFID panels have obtained the CCIA tag numbers, counting the number of head)
- Report any computer issues to management
- Ensure the information given to you matches the description of the livestock
- Communicate with livestock handlers working alongside you
- All duties are trainable - any livestock experience is an asset. Computer experience is a must.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
