Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time (Fixed-Term Contract, Career Growth Potential)
Expected Hour: 15 - 30 hours on site per week, additional remote hours

A3 District is a dance production and rehearsal studio based in Burnaby, Canada. We offer a wide variety of dance styles including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Locking, Lyrical, Modern, Musical Theatre, Popping, and Tap. Our studio provides a dynamic and creative environment for dancers of all levels. We aim to foster artistic expression and exceptional talent through professional instruction and state-of-the-art facilities.
We are seeking an Assistant Dance Studio Director / Operations Lead to act as the right-hand to our Studio Director. Because you will be the primary communication link for parents and dancers, answering questions about class levels, schedules, styles, and studio policies. Previous experience in dance or dance studio culture is preferred.

Role Description
As an Assistant Director, You will be the core point of contact for parents and dancers. Responsibilities include:
- Answering questions regarding class levels, styles, schedules, and studio policies across both our youth programs and adult drop-in classes
- Lead daily front desk operations
- Process dancer check-ins and payments, handle retail POS transactions
- Maintain overall studio cleanliness and organization
- Manage essential administrative workflows
- Coordinate schedule and roster logistics
- Actively assist in growing our dance programming to ensure smooth daily operations
What We’re Looking For
- Dance Studio Background (Preferred)
- Positive attitude and strong peoples skills
- Ability to manage front desk operations and execute POS operations
- Highly organized with elite attention to detail
- Strong time-management skills
- Ability to stay composed in a high-energy setting while managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable navigating studio management platforms (e.g.,DanceStudioPro), Excel, etc.
- Bonus Assets: Experience with video filming and content editing, Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
