Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing exceptional service to our internal customers, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining high level of focus on health, personal & environmental safety and ensuring
- Safety within all mechanical activities.
- Repair and maintain the operating condition of production line equipment and
- machineries under his jurisdiction.
- Performing predictive and preventive maintenance on all Plant equipment and
- machineries under his jurisdiction.
- Performing continuous routine maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting on all Plant equipment and machines under his/her responsibility.
- Study blueprints and maintenance manuals to determine the correct operations and maintainability of the equipment’s.
- Ensuring the implementation of Standard Operation Procedures, Standard Maintenance
- Procedures and ensures that the Maintenance Philosophies, Policies, Procedures and interests are upheld and protected at all times
- Ensuring all maintenance targets are achieved, plant availability is optimized, and plant
- maintained with a safe working environment
- Ensuring preventive and predictive maintenance activities are performed timely and
- efficient manner.
- Record repairs and maintenance performed.
- Responsible for storage of spare parts and consumables in proper manner with updated
- list of stock item in store.
- Support Electrical & Production team during breakdown or preventative maintenance.
- Responsible for high level of housekeeping in the workplace.
- Responsible for smooth running of utility equipment’s.
Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
- Knowledge in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding and Gas Cutting Techniques.
- Able to read & interpret Pneumatic and Hydraulic Circuits and mechanical drawings.
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Knowledge in usage of various manual, hydraulic and pneumatic tools and equipment.
