MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE AS A TIRE TECHNICIAN IS REQUIRED TO APPLY

Coast Tire Inc. in Kentville is seeking a Tire Technician who has customer service experience. The technician is responsible for ensuring that services are performed safely, efficiently and at a high standard of quality.

Key Accountabilities

Perform tire removal, installation, and repair services safely for all passenger and light truck vehicles. This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating, and installing repaired, or, replacement tires, and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to standard operating procedures.

Conduct diagnostics, evaluate reparability of damage, choose and complete proper repair methods.

To provide a high level of customer service in line with our company goals.

Follow work orders procedures and communicate with front counter staff the work done and the work required.





Maintain a high level of cleanliness and professionalism to represent a positive company image.

Requirements

Previous experience working in automotive as a tire tech, trades, or light-industrial setting.

Minimum 1 year customer service experience and background.

Well-presented, professional team player who takes initiative to get the job done.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong aptitude for learning.

Demonstrated personal commitment to health and safety.

All hires are subject to Criminal Background Check and Driver's Abstract

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Licence/Certification:

- Canadian PR, NOT a work permit (required)
- Nova Scotia driver's license (required)
