Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to lead and inspire our retail team while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage sales performance, and implement merchandising strategies to maximize revenue. Responsibilities

- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions to ensure smooth functioning.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail associates through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee merchandising activities, including product placement, pricing strategies, inventory purchasing, and stock replenishment to optimize sales.
- Manage customer service interactions by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Conduct recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, participating in hiring decisions, and onboarding new employees.
- Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports to track performance against targets; implement strategies to boost sales and improve store profitability.
- Maintain organizational standards by ensuring compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and cash handling procedures.

Qualifications





- Proven supervising or team management experience within a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising principles, POS systems, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and sales management.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, and record keeping.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a quick-paced setting.
- Strong leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Adept at negotiation, marketing strategies, pricing adjustments, and store management functions.

Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
