Columbia Valley Freight is a locally owned and operated company based in Cranbrook, BC, serving the Columbia Valley region. We’re currently hiring a Class 5 Delivery Driver to join our growing team.

This is a full-time, local delivery position operating 5-ton trucks — no trailers, no long-haul, and no weekend work. Our deliveries are primarily skidded freight, with a healthy mix of tailgate drops and occasional parcel deliveries. You’ll deliver to both commercial and residential customers throughout the region.

Responsibilities:

- Operate 5-ton delivery trucks for local freight runs
- Safely navigate a mix of highway and city routes
- Deliver goods to commercial and residential customers
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers
- Follow company safety protocols and procedures
- Use electronic logs and basic workflow tools

Qualifications:





- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (required)
- Commercial driving experience is an asset
- Freight handling or logistics experience is an asset
- Strong communication skills (oral and written English)
- Excellent customer service and time management
- Physically capable of lifting and moving freight
- Reliable, self-motivated, and punctual

What We Offer:

- $23.00–$26.00/hour, based on experience
- 35–45 hours/week, consistent scheduling
