ABOUT THIS PROSPECT:

We are looking for a Sessional Instructor to teach FMST 303 – Contemporary Concerns for Families in Spring 2027,

Course Description: This course examines the issues facing contemporary families, including PTSD, addictions, relocations, cultural and diversity concerns, economic climate impact, illness and death in the family unit.

Main responsibilities for this position will include:
Creating syllabus for course
Writing and delivery lectures
Grading assignments

APPOINTMENT/TERM DATES: Spring (May-June) 2027

QUALIFICATIONS:

PhD or ABD in Sociology or Psychology or a closely related field, with a specialization in Family Studies

Teaching experience beneficial
