Front of House Team Member – Counter Service and Food Preparation

Maria’s Tortas Jalisco | Stoney Creek, ON

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Front of House Team Member to join our team. In this role, you’ll help serve customers, prepare and plate food according to our training, and keep the work area clean and organized. You’ll work closely with the team to make sure every order is accurate and ready on time.

Responsibilities

- Read orders carefully and prepare and plate food as trained.
- Check that each order is accurate and complete before it goes to the customer.
- Prepare, heat or finish simple food items as needed.
- Restock refrigerators, cupboards and the cold table station.
- Clear and clean trays, and clean and sanitize work surfaces and storage areas.
- Dispose of garbage, sweep and mop as assigned.
- Help teammates during busy periods and complete other related tasks assigned by management.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Experience:

- Restaurant: 1 year (preferred)
- Food preparation: 2 years (required)
- customer service : 2 years (required)

Language:

- Spanish (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (required)
