Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Assist customers in selecting desserts and menu items, providing friendly and attentive service
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to safety standards
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards




- Support food preparation tasks, including assembling desserts and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements

- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cashiering tools
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately
- Valuable time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Prior experience in the food industry or food service environment is advantageous but not mandatory
