Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting the operation of our blown film extrusion machines and ensuring smooth production processes within a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with manufacturing or machining processes. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills and contribute to high-quality production output.

Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently set-up and operate extrusion lines to produce high quality HDPE film
- Ensure that proper materials are being used in accordance with procedures
- Monitor roll weights to ensure the correct gauge is maintained throughout the shift
- Assure proper packaging and labeling of film
- Complete daily production reporting
- Operate extrusion lines in accordance with job safety analysis, standard operating procedures, quality procedures, and operator training to meet or exceed productivity requirements and minimize downtime and waste.

Qualifications





- Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
- Experience in flexible packaging printing is an asset.
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to work a rotating 12 hour Continental shift
- Work overtime as required
- Must work as a team player and show initiative in learning new tasks. Always approach any job in a healthy and safe manner
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
- The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.
- Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.

Pay: $20.91-$26.20 per hour
