Responsibilities

- Install and mount security cameras, CCTV systems, sensors, and other surveillance equipment following schematics and blueprints.
- Set up and configure low voltage wiring for security systems, telecommunication lines, and computer networking infrastructure.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, construction plans, and electrical diagrams to ensure precise installation.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to mount TVs, security panels, sensors, and other hardware on walls or ceilings.
- Conduct system testing to verify proper operation of security devices, network connections, and sensor functionality.




- Troubleshoot issues during installation or post-installation to ensure optimal performance of all components.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including system configurations and site-specific details for future reference.

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction documentation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools for mounting and installation tasks.
- Familiarity with computer hardware setup, computer networking principles, and low voltage electrical systems.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, sensors (motion detectors), IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and telecommunication wiring.
- Electrical experience related to wiring security panels or other electronic devices safely and efficiently.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and follow technical instructions precisely.
- Construction experience is a plus for working in diverse environments with different mounting surfaces.
