Job Summary
We are currently hiring a Packaging Machine Operator for a food production facility in Concord, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure products are packaged safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery in a food production environment
- Set up machines and make adjustments as required
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Load packaging materials and supplies into machines
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major breakdowns
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety procedures
- Complete production records and documentation accurately
- Follow all company health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience operating packaging or manufacturing machinery
- Experience in a food production environment is considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
- Solid attention to detail and quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have good communication skills
