**CNC Machine Operator - Burn & Roll Shop**

**Build Components for the World's Largest Mining Equipment**

We're looking for a **CNC Machine Operator** to join our Burn & Roll Shop team.

In this role, you'll operate CNC burn tables and heavy-duty rolling equipment to manufacture critical wheel components used in large mining trucks.

**What You'll Do**

+ Review production schedules and work orders with supervisors at the start of each shift.
+ Operate CNC burn tables to cut steel plate according to engineering specifications.
+ Set up and adjust CNC equipment, including tooling and machine configurations.
+ Operate heavy-duty rolling equipment to form steel plates into wheel cylinders.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production documentation.
+ Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Use overhead cranes and material-handling equipment to safely move large components.
+ Monitor machine performance and make basic operational adjustments as required.
+ Complete production and quality documentation.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Work closely with production teams to meet daily targets and customer requirements.

**What We're Looking For**

**Required Qualifications**

+ Previous CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience with CNC machine setup and tooling changes.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
+ Experience operating an overhead crane.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to work around heavy industrial equipment.
+ Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
+ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Forklift certification or experience.
+ Fabrication and/or welding experience.
+ Familiarity with Fanuc controls.
+ Exposure to CAM software such as GibbsCAM.
+ Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments.

This is a hands-on role that involves working with:

**Shift:** Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Langley City, BC.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Langley City,BC.
