**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description**
This role supports a high-volume off-road and automotive parts operation by cleaning, preparing, and painting components.

You will use pressure washing equipment and perform touch-up painting, along with a variety of general labor and production tasks to ensure parts meet quality standards before they move to the next stage of the process.

**Responsibilities**

+ Clean and prepare parts using a pressure washer and other appropriate tools.
+ Perform touch-up painting on parts to meet quality and appearance standards.
+ Carry out general labor duties, including moving, staging, and organizing materials.
+ Support production and assembly activities as needed on the shop floor.
+ Use hand tools safely and effectively for basic production and assembly tasks.
+ Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
+ Follow manufacturing and warehouse procedures to maintain consistent workflow.
+ Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety guidelines.
+ Collaborate with team members and respond to direction from supervisors to meet daily production goals.

**Essential Skills**

+ Ability to lift and safely handle up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
+ Experience working in manufacturing or warehousing environments (manufacturing experience strongly preferred).
+ Background in general production or general labor work.
+ Comfort using hand tools in a production or assembly setting.
+ Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a busy shop environment.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Prior manufacturing experience.
+ Experience in general production operations.
+ Familiarity with basic painting or touch-up work on parts.
+ Ability to work collaboratively and take direction in a team-oriented setting.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a very large, well-organized welding and production shop that is carefully maintained.

The facility can be hot when outdoor temperatures are high,



but there are many fans and large bay doors open to provide air circulation.

Team members work in a hands-on, industrial environment around manufacturing equipment and automotive parts, following appropriate safety guidelines and attire suitable for a production shop.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cambridge, ON.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Cambridge,ON.
