**Job Title: Production Assembler**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling units using various tools and equipment, interpreting technical drawings and instructions, and ensuring the quality and functionality of assembled parts or products.

This role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently within a set timeline.

**Work Environment**

This position is for the second shift (Afternoon) from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The work environment is clean, and the company embraces diversity.

The dress code is casual, promoting comfort while maintaining professionalism.

**Responsibilities**

+ Use different tools and equipment to assemble units as directed.
+ Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, sketches, and verbal & written instructions to assemble parts or products.
+ Assemble bracketry, frames, and glue panels to brackets.
+ Identify non-conforming parts during assembly and test assembled parts for proper functionality and quality.
+ Perform standard assembly procedures, rework, and repair manufactured equipment and products.
+ Follow established safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
+ Follow directions carefully, requiring basic English reading skills.
+ Demonstrate technical knowledge of equipment and tools.
+ Possess manual dexterity and positive eyesight.
+ Perform repetitive tasks and meet deadlines as required.
+ Lift and move parts and perform other duties as needed around the manufacturing factory.

**Essential Skills**

+ 1 year work experience in a production line.
+ Experience using hand tools for assembly.
+ Ability to stand for the entire shift.
+ Ability to lift 50lbs.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Good English communication skills, both verbal and reading.
+ Knowledge of blueprints, mechanical assembly, hand and power tools.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Burnaby, BC.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Burnaby,BC.
