**Electrician (3rd/4th Year Apprentice or Journeyperson)**

**Build Your Future on a Major Commercial Warehouse Project**

We are currently seeking experienced **Electricians, 3rd and 4th Year Apprentices, and Journeypersons** to join a large-scale warehouse construction project.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a complex commercial and industrial installation involving power distribution, conveyor systems, automation controls, and industrial equipment.

This project is expected to run through **November** , with additional opportunities available for strong performers upon completion.

**What You'll Be Doing**

As part of the electrical team, you will be responsible for:

+ Installing, bending, and running EMT and rigid conduit in commercial and industrial environments
+ Performing wire pulls and terminating power and control wiring
+ Installing and connecting conveyor systems and material handling equipment
+ Mounting and wiring photo eyes, sensors, push buttons, power supplies, and control devices
+ Installing, wiring, and commissioning motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
+ Completing communications and low-voltage cabling installations as required
+ Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and work orders
+ Following lockout/tagout procedures and maintaining strict safety standards
+ Working safely at heights using fall protection equipment
+ Collaborating with supervisors, forepersons, and fellow tradespeople to ensure project success

**Qualifications**

**Required**

+ Minimum **2 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience**
+ Registered **3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice** or **Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician**
+ Strong experience with:
+ Conduit installation and bending
+ Wire pulling and cable termination
+ Commercial and industrial electrical construction
+ Ability to confidently bend conduit using hand benders
+ Experience working with motors, VFDs, industrial controls, or automation systems
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings
+ Strong communication skills and reliable attendance
+ Ability to pass a criminal record check if required

**Certifications Required**

+ Fall Protection
+ WHMIS (current)
+ Aerial Work Platform (AWP)
+ Lockout/Tagout Training

**Preferred Experience**

Candidates with the following experience are strongly encouraged to apply:

+ Large-scale warehouse, logistics, or distribution facility projects
+ Industrial controls and automation systems
+ Conveyor system installations
+ Motor controls and troubleshooting
+ Commercial new construction projects

**Schedule**

+ Monday to Friday
+ 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
+ 9.5 paid hours per day

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pitt Meadows, BC.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Pitt Meadows,BC.
