We provide personalized nursing, personal support, companionship, post-hospital support, dementia care, rehabilitation support, and specialized healthcare services to individuals and families in their homes, retirement residences, long-term care settings, and hospitals.

We are seeking a professional, experienced, outgoing, and highly personable Marketing Assistant to support our marketing, community engagement, presentations, professional relationships, and healthcare outreach.

The Role

The Marketing Assistant will help strengthen the presence of Modern Angels Healthcare within the healthcare and senior-care community through professional outreach, community engagement, networking, presentations, and relationship building.

The ideal candidate is confident, polished, well-spoken, organized, and comfortable representing the company in professional and public settings.

This individual must have excellent communication skills, strong public-speaking abilities, and confidence delivering presentations to groups of varying sizes.

Previous healthcare, senior-care, community, or social-services experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend and participate in marketing events, healthcare conferences, community events, networking events, health fairs, trade shows, and professional functions.
- Represent Modern Angels Healthcare professionally within the community.
- Support and participate in community engagement initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare professionals, senior-serving organizations, community partners, and other professional contacts.
- Assist with outreach to hospitals, retirement residences, healthcare organizations, community groups, and professional networks.
- Prepare for and deliver company presentations, educational presentations, Lunch & Learns, community talks, and service introductions.
- Confidently speak in front of small and large groups.
- Assist with presentation materials,



speaking notes, educational resources, and marketing collateral.
- Follow up with contacts after meetings, presentations, and community events.
- Support ongoing marketing campaigns, community initiatives, and outreach programs.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of contacts, events, presentations, meetings, and follow-up activities.
- Update CRM and marketing tracking systems as required.
- Assist with preparing professional correspondence, marketing materials, promotional materials, and community communications.
- Work closely with management to support the company's marketing and community engagement priorities.
- Maintain a polished, professional, and positive representation of the Modern Angels Healthcare brand.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have:

- A university degree in a healthcare-related field or a recognized college diploma in healthcare, social services, community services, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in healthcare, home care, senior care, retirement living, community health, social services, rehabilitation, or a related environment.
- Experience in marketing, community engagement, outreach, networking, or relationship building.
- Existing healthcare, senior-care, community, or professional contacts is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong public-speaking skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and the confidence to speak in front of professional and community audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to engage comfortably with healthcare professionals, executives, community organizations, families, and the general public.
- Professional appearance, maturity, and strong judgment.




- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, presentation software, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
- Ability to attend occasional evening and weekend marketing and community events.
- Ability to travel throughout the GTA and surrounding communities as required.
