Responsibilities

- Decorate cakes and desserts with intricate designs, piping, fondant, and other decorative techniques to meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Prepare cakes by following recipes, baking, and assembling layers with precision and care
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, icing, and packaging baked goods for sale or delivery
- Provide excellent customer service by discussing decoration options, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction




- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including proper storage of ingredients and finished products
- Support the team in food safety practices and adhere to all health regulations within the kitchen setting

Experience

- Proven experience in cake decorating or pastry arts is highly preferred
- Background in restaurant or food service environments demonstrating food preparation skills
- Knowledge of baking techniques, food handling procedures, and kitchen safety standards
- Familiarity with food industry best practices for cleanliness, packaging, and presentation
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous
