Job Title: Communications Coordinator

Contract full time position (35 hours per week)

Contract Start date: November 30th, 2026; Contract End date: June 4th, 2027

Who we are looking for:

The role is responsible for managing the organization’s digital presence, supporting outreach efforts, and assisting with key administrative and fundraising initiatives.

About the role:

- Plan, create, and schedule content across ACSA’s social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand and ACSA’s Missions and Values.
- Collect and curate engaging content, including community stories, testimonials, ACSA programs/services and event highlights.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing insights and quarterly reports to track engagement, growth, and impact.
- Maintain and update the organization's Media Bank, ensuring high-quality images, videos,



and promotional materials are well-organized and accessible for Agency Staff.
- Support staff with brand-related inquiries, ensuring consistency in the use of ACSA logos, templates, and branding materials.
- Assist with website updates, ensuring accurate and current information about programs, events, and services.
- Assist the fundraising consultant with social media promotion of fundraising campaigns and other digital communication-related fundraising projects.
- Draft, design, and schedule monthly stewardship emails to engage and retain existing donors and email subscribers.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for staff meetings, the Annual General Meeting (AGM), and other organizational meetings and events, including preparing materials, coordinating logistics, taking and/or organizing meeting notes, tracking follow-up items, and supporting timely distribution of information.

About you:

- Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or community outreach.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with experience coordinating meetings, events, schedules, documents, and follow-up activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and analytics reporting.




- Experience with website management (Squarespace, Mailchimp or similar CMS).
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are an asset.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for community work, nonprofit experience is an asset.

Salary: hourly rate of $27/hr
