About the job:

- Manage project costs, including labour, equipment, and cost allocations across project functions.
- Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial performance reports.
- Monitor project performance and provide financial insights to support operational decision-making.
- Prepare project financial forecasts and consolidate inputs from multiple departments.
- Manage progress claims, contract variations, and supporting documentation in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Support subcontractor and supplier contract administration and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain project reporting tools using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Lead, mentor, and support project controls personnel to achieve team objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO SUDBURY.

Start/ End Hours- Rotation schedule: Monday to Friday.





What you need:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in project cost engineering, accounting, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and project cost reporting.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Power BI experience is highly desirable.
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience is preferred.
- Experience managing subcontractor and supplier contracts is an asset.
- Previous experience in the mining, resources, construction, or heavy industrial industry is highly desirable.
- University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
