Staff Plus is hiring a Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) for a permanent, full-time opportunity with a well-established manufacturing company in Aylmer, Ontario.

We’re looking for an experienced 433A Millwright / Industrial Mechanic Millwright with strong hands-on experience in mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Available Shifts

Day Shift

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Pay: $43.45/hour

Afternoon Shift

- Monday to Thursday: 4:00 PM – 3:00 AM
- Pay: $43.45/hour + $0.95/hour shift premium

What You’ll Do

As an Industrial Millwright, you’ll work as part of the maintenance team to keep manufacturing machinery and equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.

- Perform routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose equipment problems, identify root causes and complete effective repairs.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance requests.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs as required.
- Perform minor electrical repairs and installations as required.
- Safely complete lockout procedures during equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Document repair requests, completed work, inspections and equipment status using maintenance systems.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance,



production and other departments to coordinate priorities.
- Safely work at heights and use cranes, slings and other material-handling equipment where required.
- Follow company safety procedures and applicable Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

What We’re Looking For

- Valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate of Qualification (433A) – required.
- 3+ years of Millwright experience preferred, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience maintaining and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance experience.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Ability to safely complete lockout procedures.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Knowledge of cranes, slings and material-handling techniques.
- Strong commitment to workplace and equipment safety.
- Ability to troubleshoot independently while working effectively as part of a maintenance team.
