Kootenay Chrysler is looking for a Customer Experience & Sales Assistant to join our team.

And don't let the word sales scare you.

This isn't your typical car sales job.

We're not looking for someone with years of automotive experience. We're looking for someone energetic, social, dependable and motivated who genuinely enjoys dealing with people.

If you're the kind of person who can talk to just about anybody, likes staying busy and doesn't want to sit behind a desk all day, we want to meet you.

No automotive experience required.
No sales experience required.
We'll train the right person.

WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY DO?

Every day will be a little different. You'll work alongside our sales team and help with things like:

- Greeting and helping customers
- Assisting the sales team throughout the day
- Helping prepare vehicles for customer deliveries
- Taking vehicle photos and helping with online inventory
- Moving and organizing vehicles
- Keeping the sales lot looking sharp
- Running vehicles for fuel, cleaning and preparation
- Helping with deliveries and dealership errands
- Learning our vehicles, systems and the automotive business
- Jumping in wherever the team needs a hand

This is an active, hands-on position — not a job where you'll spend your entire day sitting at a desk.

You'll work alongside experienced automotive professionals and learn the dealership business from the ground up.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable driving different vehicles
- Ability to drive a manual transmission is a bonus, but not required
- A good attitude and willingness to learn
