Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented part time Bookkeeper to join our team at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse in Vancouver. In this role, you will manage our financial records, ensure accuracy in transactions, and support our ongoing commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software using QuickBooks Online
- Manage accounts payable to ensure timely processing.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare monthly financial reports and remittances
- Collaborate with management to improve financial procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices in bookkeeping and accounting.

Qualifications





- Prior experience in restaurant bookkeeping required, knowledge of Toast POS/Push Operations/Margin Edge is a plus
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in similar accounting roles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
- Knowledge of banking procedures related to reconciliation.
- Effective communication skills

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
