Innoflo is looking for an experienced Commercial Pipefitter/Service Technician to join our field construction team.

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated person with commercial pipefitting experience who can work independently, troubleshoot field issues, and complete clean, professional installations. Our work includes commercial fuel, fresh-oil, used-oil, lubrication, compressed-air, pump, and related fluid-handling systems.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working on active commercial job sites, both in town and out of town, including new construction, retrofits, repairs, service calls, and equipment upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, modify, repair, and service commercial piping, pumps, air systems, lubrication equipment, fuel systems, and related fluid-handling equipment.
- Complete work involving fresh oil, used oil, fuel, compressed air, lubrication, and associated commercial systems.
- Work independently on assigned installation, service, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Read and interpret piping layouts, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, piping, equipment, low-voltage, and basic control-related issues in the field.
- Assist with low voltage wiring and controls, including sensors, switches, relays, solenoids, alarms, and related field devices.
- Coordinate with licensed electricians when electrical connections, code requirements, or specialized electrical work is required.
- Communicate site conditions, material requirements, deficiencies, and recommended solutions to the project team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional work area and vehicle.
- Complete required job documentation, including photos, daily reports, material lists, and deficiency information.

Required Qualifications

- Commercial pipefitting experience.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems without constant supervision.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and field troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, piping layouts, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Working knowledge of low-voltage wiring, controls, sensors, switches, relays, solenoids, and alarms.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable travelling and working both in Edmonton and surrounding areas, including out-of-town projects when required.




- Able to pass randomized drug & alcohol testing (including THC) as required by our clients.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, jobsite cleanliness, and skilled communication.
- Physically able to perform commercial trade work, including lifting materials, working from ladders, and using aerial work platforms when required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of CSA B139 code.
- TSSA experience, certifications, inspections, or regulated-work exposure.
- PMH, PM1, and/or PM3 training, experience, or certification.
- Experience with petroleum, fuel, fresh-oil, used-oil, lubrication, compressed-air, fleet-shop, automotive-service, quick-lube, or industrial fluid-handling systems.
- Experience with fuel-management systems, tank-monitoring equipment, pump controls, alarms, and related equipment.
- Welding, brazing, threading, grooving, compression fitting, or similar piping-system experience.
- Valid EWP / aerial work platform certification.
- Valid Fall Arrest / Fall Protection certification.
- Valid Forklift and/or Telehandler certification.
- CSO, WHMIS, First Aid/CPR, CSTS, OSSA, or other relevant construction safety certifications.

Safety tickets are not required; however, candidates who hold current tickets will be given preference. The successful candidate must be willing to complete or renew training required for specific sites or projects.
